Eco+ works like this: Stream purchases 1,000 kWh of certified 100 percent renewable, clean energy produced by wind, hydroelectric, and/or solar sources to make up for the energy that you consume. If you’re wondering what 1,000 kWh looks like, consider this: over the course of 12 months, 1,000 kWh in carbon offsets is the equivalent of planting 231 trees over the course of a decade, not burning 1,000 gallons of gasoline, and preventing as much as 20,000 pounds of CO2 emissions. EZ Start

Many energy companies will charge you an early cancellation fee if you cancel or move your service to a new carrier, but when you choose select plans from Stream Energy, the company will cover your cancellation costs by crediting your Stream account up to $150 as a thank you for your business. All you need to do is provide Stream with a copy of your last bill and some basic identifying information, and your credit will be sent to you shortly after.
